About The Others: The life of the subversives.

Earlier I told you that there is a place called Peronia, I told you how some of its citizens live, I described their economic and social backwardness. Today I will talk about citizens who are close to ostracism.

It happens that in Peronia there is a group branded as subversives, to say it in some way, they are people born in Peronia who are tired of the repression of violent groups, the mafia, corruption and the brazenness of the unions.

Recently this group was joined by a group of people who have been destitute, come from a place that no longer exists but in their dreams, where there is no hope, where uncertainty about the future is the only certainty and just as food Faith is also scarce. They have nowhere else to return, their homes have been destroyed, but they are afraid of not being able to continue to take refuge in Peronia.

Together they form a group of people who not only do not fit in Peronia, but who are victims of constant attacks, they are the others, the different ones, those who do not have peace but constant struggles at work, in universities, in the streets, from days ago are those who try to come together to safeguard before the crowd of fervent followers of the "leader" ends with them.

These immigrants who come from so far had a slight hope last week after there were serious protests in their place of origin. They did not contain their adrenaline, they went to demonstrate to the embassy to support their fellow citizens and exert international pressure. But they did not count on what faithful Perón youth groups and therefore defenders of any collectivist regime, came to attack the others who were protesting.

The situation worsened when the police had to intervene, the media showed pseudo-analysts who criminalized the actions of others, began to accuse them of conspiracy, betrayal, and defending external interests. Obviously they do it to get well with that huge mass of people who still believe in the "leader".

The environment became radicalized, because these others who come from that place that no longer exists are desperate, they feel, they cry, they scream, because they have stormy memories, they still have valuable people in that place so far from where they come and want them help, but the citizens of Peronia strive to silence them, to tell them how to think and what to do.

I write this with fear - does anyone knock on my door? - sometimes it scares me that they discover me, sometimes I can not stand and show them my true identity, sometimes I fall, sometimes I get up, but I always remember: I am different, I am the enemy of all the followers of the "leader" and that is my sentence, will I end up in the guillotine?

I do not know how long this battle will last, not those who manage to win it, I do not know if we will kill each other first, I would like to be free. Anyone there?

To be continue

The wire - less madness

Lately working with Lora device I have learned that we are really close to create big impact changes with relatively little investing.    I've started my mesh during a research to communicate my postbox with my Home Assistant setup. In all the apartments where I lived this really got me; I wanted that when the post agent left something for me it should notify me somehow. This could have been because I've worked far from my place, or even because otherwise every time I need to go check it. During this mission I only counted with a bunch of ESP32s that could be used for communication using WiFi, Bluetooth and ESPnow. That's awesome but unfortunately not enough.  Suddenly when looking for sensors for other project, I've found SX126X and SX127X which are modules for LoRa communication. And pretty cheap ones!    2022 I've got some Heltec V1 (Stockholm)   Is good to mention that this technology uses ISM which basically is that the states provide a license-free b...

My own Departure Board (V1)

A screen that tells you when the next train is coming, built with the same complexity as a Mars mission. It all started on the blue line to Kista , riding Stockholm’s Tunnelbana. Half asleep, I was staring at the glowing “next departures” board when it hit me: "What if I built one of those for home?" Sure, I could’ve just opened an app like any normal human, but I chose the long, slow, bug-ridden path. Naturally. A while later, for my birthday, Roberto gave me a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W . Why? No idea. But clearly, it was fuel for my urge to overengineer things. With that little board in hand, my fate was sealed. Weeks later, we went to a Hopsworks meetup in Södermalm. Being a good Scandinavian tech event, it was full of beer. And not just any beer— Hopsworks has its own craft beer line , with labels that look like they came straight out of a DataFrame. Absolute chef’s kiss. They were showing how they use the Trafiklab API to feed an AI model that predicts public transport del...
